1. My Garden Vocabulary Words: Identify, break down (as shown below), read, and write the letters of the following words:
باغ(ب ا غ) ۔ دروازہ(د روا زہ) . پھول(پ ھ ول)۔ سیر(س ے ر) . موسم(م وس م)
2. Practice reading and writing the following sentences;
( یہ ایک باغ ہے ) , ( وہ ایک دروازہ ہے ), (یہ ایک لال پھول ہے )
3. Make sentences using the following words: - باغ baa,gh (garden), پھول phool (flower), درازہ der,wa,zah (door), موسم mo,sum (weather)
4. Please make a new home reading log for June. Use the same Home Reading log design to create a new one using a pencil and a ruler, just like the previous one given to you in your Urdu folder. Do your “Urdu Home Reading” regularly and please continue to send me the pictures of your “Urdu Home Reading Logs” until the end of June.
5. Do your Urdu calendar as we do in class.

This week we will make beautiful Eid cards to wish our friends and families. You can also use paint, crayons, stickers, colored paper, pieces of cloth, glitter glue, design tape etc. to decorate your card. Be creative! Send me a picture of your lovely “عید مبارک” card when you are finished.

- Introduce yourself and your item
- Talk about 3-5 important things you want to share about your item
- The other students will listen and can ask some follow-up questions, so be ready to answer questions about your item.
- Vocabulary words: Practice reading and writing the following words dikhaein (show) ۔ دکھائیں ۔ bataein (tell) ۔ بتائیں
Please continue to practice reading and writing words and sentences from your “Chambali” Urdu book over summer break.

- Vocabulary Words: Practice reading and writing the sentences (Chambali book page 71 and 72) and write the amount of time spent reading in your Urdu reading log. Don't forget to have your parents sign it.
- Sentence Making: Make only 5 sentences in Urdu, using these words (Ammi, Abu, Bhai, Dada, Nana)
- Do your April home reading log
- Do your Urdu calendar as we do in class.
April 13-17

- Reading Activity: Practice reading the poem "Zara’s Mano" ("زارا کی مانو") (Chambali book page 70) and write the amount of time spent reading in your Urdu reading log. Don't forget to have your parents sign it.
- Vocabulary Words: Practice reading and writing these words "زارا۔ پاس۔ مانو۔ جان۔ بال" on a piece of paper and put it in your Urdu folder.
- Do your April home reading log
- Do your Urdu calendar as we do in class.
April 6-10

- April Home Reading: Do your Urdu home reading, add minutes, and get your parent's signature on the reading log. You can read any Urdu book/Chambeli book/read online.
- Reading and writing Activity: Urdu book page 68, read and write the words by joining with the letter "Bari Yeh"
- Turn to Urdu book page no. 69, read and write the words on the given lines
March 30- April 3

- Independent Reading and Writing Activity, Urdu Calendar: Complete your calendar as we do in class and write the following in your Urdu folders: Days of the week, today’s date, weather etc.
- April Home Reading: Make a new reading log for April (by hand) using the same template as you have for March. Do your Urdu home reading, add minutes, and get your parent's signature on the reading log. You can read any Urdu book/Chambeli book/read online.
- Joining Letters, Urdu book page 65 and 66: read and write the words by joining with the letter "Bari Yeh"
- Revision: Read, write, and draw pictures of the sentences (Urdu book pages 56 and 57) on a piece of paper and put this page in your Urdu folder.

- Urdu Calendar: Do your calendar daily as we do in class and write the following in your Urdu folders: days of the week, today’s date, weather and read aloud counting 1-30 (independent reading and writing daily activity).
- Do your Urdu home reading daily, add minutes and get your parent's signature on the reading log. You can read any book that is in Urdu or read online.
- I hope you got your Urdu homework booklet for this week from your plastic bag that your parents grabbed from school.
- "The Rabbit/Khargoosh" first page of your booklet, read all the sentences and practice reading and writing all the vocabulary words on a separate piece of page.
- Joining letters to make words (second page) reading and writing activity.
- Names of Colors: Read, write and color. Learning names of colors and names of different shapes in Urdu.
